Saint Ignatius of Loyola School has served the Highland Park community of Los Angeles since 1922. At St. Ignatius, parents recognize the strong Christian values that form the basis for learning. The dedicated teachers and staff, under the direction of Principal, Patricia Aparicio, are dedicated to providing students with a sound Catholic education in a safe and loving environment. In addition to a strong academic program, St. Ignatius provides many opportunities for the students to become involved in their school and community. Program offerings include CYO sports programs, a partnership with Education Through Music, Reading Club, Science Fair, Academic Decathlon, Speech Contest, Builders Club, Student Council and Student Run LA (Los Angeles Marathon). St. Ignatius strives to teach to the whole child and help him or her become a life-long learner.
“I am amazed at the dedication of the children and their families to the school and to each other. Their individual retreat days and the Circle of Peace confirm that they are secure and anxious to do their best. The Honor Roll confirms they are succeeding. ” Sister Georgette Coulombe, O.P.
